GBTimelapse is a Microsoft Windows application for the capture of time-lapse image sequences or for general purpose remote capture. You control a Canon EOS digital camera tethered to your computer by a USB cable. Using the camera's settings, you capture images using the computer rather than the camera controls and collect a series of images automatically while the camera and computer are left unattended.

Site Monitor/Laboratory Features

• Multi-Camera: Control up to four cameras synchronously (Windows 7 or Vista required)

GBTimelapse does not make a time-lapse movie; it captures a sequence of images. To make a movie from those images you need other software such as Quicktime Pro, Premiere Elements, Adobe After Effects, or Adobe Premiere.

System Requirements

• Windows 7, Vista, XP (home or professional)
• Memory: 256MB minimum, 1GB recommended
• Hard Disk: 500MB minimum
• Processor: 1GHz minimum
• .Net Framework 2.0 - GBTimelapse requires Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, which is part of Windows 7 and Vista. If you are using Windows XP, the GBTimelapse installer will ask permission to install .Net 3.5 (a superset of 2.0).
