GBDeflicker Mac Installation and Activation

Mac Installation

Download the GBDeflicker file

Double-click GBDeflickerInstallX_X_X.pkg.zip to unzip it.

Double-click GBDeflickerInstallX_X_X.pkg to start the installation.

The installer creates the folder /Applications/GraniteBaySoftware on your system drive and installs several files.

Double-click and run the script file GBDeflickerPostInstall.scpt to copy the GBDeflicker plug-in to the normal Adobe plug-in location /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore

Look in the Adobe plugin location to confirm that GBDeflicker has been copied there.

Mac Free Trial Activation

Run Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro

The first time you use GBDeflicker, a free trial activation dialog will appear.

Double-click the link to Granite Bay Software and enter the required contact information.

Copy the resulting activation code from your browser and paste it into the text box.

If your computer is not connected to the internet, send us the request number and we will send you the corresponding activation code. Or go to another computer and follow this Link.

At this point, you may continue to use GBDeflicker until the free trial expires.

GBDeflicker License Files

When GBDeflicker is first run, it makes copies of the software license files in the common folder /Users/Shared/Ticket

If you have a problem running GBDeflicker, use "Get Info" to make sure you have "Read & Write" access to these files.

Mac Product Activation

When GBDeflicker is run after the free trial is activated, you will see a second activation dialog. Until you purchase the product, just click "Activate Later".

After purchase, enter your serial number and other information and click "Activate Now".

Activation on a computer with no Internet connection

If your computer has no internet connection, a dialog appears explaining the manual activation process. Or, if your computer is attached to a proxy server that is blocking the activation process, disconnect it from the internet and run GBDeflicker. You will see the "Select Activation Type" dialog.
