Windows Vista Compatibility
Windows Vista is not recommended - Use Windows XP Service Pack 2
instead. Only the Canon G9, G7 and S3 are confirmed to work properly on Windows
Vista with GBTimelapse.
Canon has announced that they have no plans to create compatible remote capture
drivers for Windows Vista. We hope they will change their minds.
However, it is possible to run GBTimelapse on a Vista computer by setting
GBTimelapse to run in Windows XP compatibility mode. If you have a Vista
computer, please install the GBTimelapse free trial, set the compatibility
mode, and try it with your camera.
Until Canon releases Vista drivers, we cannot guarantee that this method will
work on all computers and with all Canon cameras; but it may work for your
computer/camera combination.
